We are planning on having a family and saving for our children's college education.

We are getting married!

This wedding might seem unusual as you read on.
We are not getting married at a church. The actual " I now pronounce you man and wife" situation will be preformed by a wedding officiant at a park. The exact park is yet to be determined. We plan on just having our immediate families and their significant others at this event. This decision is not a consequence of us feeling like we are an elitist group that can only have family watch us wed, but rather it is a decision based on logistic simplicity. We plan on our friends enjoying themselves at the Casa de Elena while this is going on.We would love for everyone to be at the ceremony. It becomes a logistical challenge to make that happen. In other words... I will post the time and the park we choose. Please come and see it if you can get yourself there and back, and if you don't mind standing. It is going to be VERY concise. We will have the actual ceremony videoed, so if there are any romantics out there that want to see how it was they will have their chance.

My friends and incredibly talented musicians the mattson2
will be laying down some all time tunes to set the mood. Our good friend Tom Kopfler will be cooking up a menu sure to please everyone (Thanks to Sarah Gruenburg for rounding up the food!). He doesn't know how to make something that taste bad. Casa de Elana is in a neighborhood hence we ought to respect the neighbors. Our quick little (but hugely SIGNIFICANT) ceremony will be finished by 5 pm.
